| IN CASE OF TIES 1) Tournament winner (low net) and runner-up ties: Decided by sudden death plyoff starting on 1st hole with handicap strokes on appropirate holes. Played off low handicap. Runner-up ties may have options. 2) Medalist (low gross) ties are ties. TOURNAMENT HANDICAPS 3) Based on 90% of players average strokes over par per year in (67-68 OPEN). Handicap maximum is 33. Starting in '09 we will use player's last three scores - including MGA or USGA handicap (if it is one of last three). 4) Player without tournament handicap will use MGA or USGA handicap if they have one. Those who don't will (a) use handicap established from this years tournament or (b) play tournament course within two months prior to 67-68 OPEN for score and handicap. Handicaps from other courses may be adjusted according to index and slope. Ladies may play from the red tees iF handicap established there. 3) Two mulligans allowed (one per side) with the following guidelines: (A) For drives only (B) Not on any par 3 (C) Not for long drive contest [but OK for score on that hole] (D) If you hit a mulligan, you must play it and not the first shot. 4) NO gimme putts allowed. AKA The Bill Flaig Rule 5) Winter rules apply: FAIRWAY ONLY. 6) Play ALL HAZARDS (red & white stakes, lost ball) as lateral hazard. Drop ball where shot entered hazard, or ball lost. One shot penalty. 7) Maximum 9 strokes per hole. Must have 8 to Pic-Up. 8) Must be from the class of '67 or '68 to win MEDALIST honor. 9) Extra large cup on #18 (maybe). Ignore the regular cup. If your putt is stymied you may move your ball to the side. 10) FORM YOUR OWN FOURSOME EVENTS & PAYOFFS ($ 15) ... optional: must enter all or none - Payments per entrant - Limit $25Vne .. Payments per entrant A) The four par 3's closest to the pin (on green) pays $1 ( Holes TBD) B) Longest drive in fairway on #TBD pays $1 C) Longest one putt on #18 pays $1 D) Putting Tournament champion pays $1 E) Tournament winner (low net) receives REALY NICE TROPHY . F) Tournament runner-up receives REALLY NICE TROPHY. G) Tournment Medalist (low gross) and Tounament winner will have their names on Tournament plaques at Eddys Interlachen Inn H) Hole-in-one insurance $1 per entrant (if no winner the pot builds for the future) As of 2-25-10 $110 ... plus this years entry in pot Hole-in-one receives "money in the pot" or max $100 (when pot exceeds $100) - Eagle receives 25% or $25 max. NOTE: We will not pay more tha $100 for multiple aces, and no more than $50 for multiple eagles. If the pot is not larte enough to cover all aces and eagles - Aces receive 1 share / Eagles receive 1/4 share. I) $6 per entrant goes toward purchase of trophies and prizes. Any excess will go to additional prizes or added to the hole-in-one pot. J) If no one wins a closest to pin event the long drive event, or the long putt event, the money will go to a drawing(s) at awards ceremony ceremony.
