Urness, Donald B. "Donnie", age 55, of Elk River, formerly of Alexandria, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on June 11, 2004. Preceded in death by his parents, Maxine & Howard Urness. Survived by his loving wife, Janell Thompson; children, Joshua, Shane, Trent Urness, and Waylon & Kristofer Thompson. Also survived by his brother, Lee (Kathy) Urness; sister, Mary (Mike) Hodapp of Willmar; in-laws, Phyliss & Harlan Strand of Glenwood; former wife, Barbara Urness; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
