!! Grandson number two just left for a stint in the Army. Pray for him. !!
After 38 years at the same company, I have started a "phased" retirement. I now am on 4 day weeks until November and then will for 3 days a week. I was going to retire at 62, but figured I would get bored (at least that is what my wife said) Have to remember the impact on the spouses when we decide to hang it up as they are effected in a major way. Some small wisdom from an old semi retired guy.

Goals: *Not have alzheimers

I am semi-retired, which allowed me to travel with my husband this fall for his work. We spent 3 weeks in Spain where I worked with a missionary family. We are now in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas where I am working with a local ministry, Island Encounter. When I get back to KS after 7 weeks on the Island, I will continue to work for this ministry raising funds to support hurricane cleanup etc. It is an exciting answer to a lifelong desire to be able to serve God on a full time basis!
